User feedback along with years of research has driven the latest innovative improvements made on 3m classic product series providing enhanced safety glasses and eyewear wearability while the Auto-Darkening filter welding helmet offers optimum safety and an affordable solution for all levels of welder.
3M has announced the launch of two new products to its personal protective equipment (PPE) and workwear portfolio;
The upgraded 3M™ SecureFit™ Protective Eyewear 400 Series which combines innovative and new features with the popular 3M™ SecureFit Protective Eyewear and safety glasses series. 3M’s new line of safety glasses and protective eyewear provides improved comfort, wearability and fit. Designed with 3M’s pressure diffusion temple technology, SecureFit protective eyewear adjusts to individual head sizes to help reduce slippage and discomfort that can be caused when wearing safety glass and eyewear for long periods of time. The 3M™ SecureFit™ Protective Eyewear 400 Series also enhances the wearers’ experience by using soft, self adjustable nose-pads as well as including padded temple points for increased comfort over the ears.
The new 3M™ Welding Helmet 10 with an Auto-Darkening Filter (ADF) offers an affordable welding helmet solution for students or the first-time welder. In the past, high quality auto-darkening welding helmets for the student, part-time or first-time welder have typically been too expensive as a first-helmet purchase. Now, 3M addresses these user needs with the introduction of the 3M™ Welding Helmet 10 with Auto-Darkening Filter. Competitively priced for the student or first-time welder, this new helmet is lightweight and features an ADF with three shade levels and two sensitivity levels for a high quality welding experience.
